Rebecca Vasile is an enchantress of Sicilian heritage. She is a professional dancer, choreographer and instructor by day and a producer, entrepreneur and dance ethnographer by night. She has professionally performed a variety of dance genres from salsa to modern, lyrical jazz to afro-Haitian, Hawaiian hula, ballroom and more. However, Rebecca’s main dish is Middle Eastern bellydance. For almost two decades, she has brought the art of bellydance to thousands through both performance and instruction. Through the years Rebecca has developed a unique training style - an amalgamation of Pilates and bellydance fused with other dance styles. She teaches in the San Francisco Bay Area and in workshops around the world. Since 2010 Rebecca has been performing internationally with the Bellydance Superstars. And, in 2011 she joined with band Wobbly World to provide visual stimulation to their enchanting music. She loves to travel and joyfully spread the love of dance wherever she journeys.
